Trontario Truck Driving School is designed to provide future students an opportunity to acquire the basic skills, knowledge and determination to become an entry level employee in the commercial truck driving fields. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to challenge the MTO Commercial Class A License road test and be awarded with a private career college certificate. At the same time a student will gain an appropriate understanding of the rules and regulations of the tractor industry and the Ministry of Transportation .
Our driving instructors are highly trained and certified professionals who will ensure you receive the best possible driving education.
The Ministry of Transportation is introducing Mandatory Entry Level Training ( MELT ) that requires students to successfully complete the mandatory program prior to attending their A class road test.
CLASS A: Truck Trailer several tractor trailer or combination of motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms .
This Policy applies to: All members of the Trontario Truck Driving School "Registered as Private Career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005" community including: all employees, governors, students, contractors, suppliers of services, individuals who are directly connected to any College initiatives, volunteers, and visitors.
